Water Infrastructure Services (WIS) is a leading engineering and construction company that delivers Capital Works and Renewals projects to critical water infrastructure agencies with a strong focus on safety and service delivery. We are hiring a HR, Office and Compliance Manager. This role is office based and is a full-time position within the company.
We are a South East QLD based company working across the civil water infrastructure industry. As a company, we pride ourselves in the quality and reliability of our operations and our practical approach to delivering jobs correctly, and so it is vital that our team members are reliable, dependable, with attention to detail and a good level of common sense.

Where does this role fit in?
This role is responsible for the maintenance and ongoing optimization of organisational processes and systems to ensure they are efficient, effective, and aligned with business goals. This role oversees the business and office management team.
What you can expect from this role:
HR Manager
- Position Descriptions and Position Requirements, Identify the key skills, qualifications, experience, and qualities required for each key position. Clearly documenting the success measures for each role
- Develop and maintain HR standards that comply with legal and organisational requirements.
- Performance Management: Support performance review processes to enhance employee performance and development
- Contribute to human resources opportunities to develop and improve processes and systems.
- Address employee relations, grievances and other HR related issues
- Obtain HR advise and information from Employsure to assist management in making informed HR decisions.
Compliance Manager
- Promote a quality and continuous improvement culture.
- Manage and support all business with Internal and External ISO auditing.
- Management of corporate document and records management system.
- Develop and maintain corporate policies and procedures.
- Working closely with managers to ensure continuous improvement and audit actions identified are implemented.
Office Manager
- Management of IT Service Agreement and IT service requests
- Management of client Portals and Compliance requirements
- Management of staff communications and notices via WIS Portal
- Assist management in the management of social media and corporate web page
Are you our next HR, Office and Compliance Manager?
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability in business process management
- 5+ years’ experience risk management and Compliance
- 5+ years’ experience implementing Quality Management Systems and Continuous Improvement systems
- Analytical and strategic thinking.
- Ability to conduct detailed assessments (including desktop research, data analysis, document review etc) and synthesising into digestible outputs (e.g. reports)
- Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experienced with Sharepoint and OneDrive
- Graduate, bachelor degree as a minimum
- Ability to plan effectively and prioritise work commitments
- Initiative & tenacity.
