Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HR Licensed Skip Bin Truck Driver to join our team in servicing the Sydney Metropolitan Area. As a Skip Bin Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, collection, and disposal of SKIP BINs to and from various locations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a SKIP BIN truck to deliver and collect SKIP BINs at customer sites within the Sydney Metropolitan Area.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving and operating the vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining professionalism and courtesy during interactions with clients.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the SKIP BIN truck is in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any issues encountered during operations.
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to plan routes and schedule pickups and deliveries efficiently.
- Adhere to designated schedules and timelines to ensure timely service to customers.
- Assist with loading and unloading SKIP BINs using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Follow proper waste disposal procedures and guidelines in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Valid HR driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a SKIP BIN truck driver or similar role is preferred.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of Sydney Metropolitan roadways.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and tasks.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks as required.
- Excavator operation experience is a bonus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime.
