Position Overview:
Working 3 days per week, the HR & Training Manager will play a crucial role in shaping our company culture, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring our team is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel. This position reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with all departments to support our growing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our business goals, focusing on recruitment, retention, and employee development.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our team and promote continuous learning and development.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance and support to managers and employees to ensure high performance and career growth.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee relations, fostering a positive work environment and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all HR practices comply with legal requirements and reflect industry best practices, enhancing our reputation as an employer of choice.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires and promoting our values and culture.
About You:
- Proven HR Experience: You have a solid background in HR, with specific experience in training and development, performance management, and employee relations.
- Qualifications: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strategic Thinker: You're strategic yet hands-on, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies and programs.
