About the role
Based on site in Greater Melbourne, you will work closely with the HSE Manager to coordinate the implementation of robust HSE policies to a major renewable energy project. You will liaise with direct staff, sub-contractors and suppliers helping to ensure compliance to HSE procedures and cultivate a safety-first culture on site. The main requirement will be to assist with the documentation, administration & inspections.
Duties
- Project HSE support and coordination
- Help ensure your project stays up to date and compliant with internal and external HSE requirements and legislation
- Manage administration, documentation and inspections
- Liaise with sub-contractors helping to facilitate HSE best practice
- Reporting on all project related HSE issues
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- HSE, Engineering or Project Administration backgrounds all accepted
- Ability to communicate with and manage stake holders at all levels
- Previous experience in construction/infrastructure projects
- White card
- Based in Melbourne or surrounding areas
Desirable:
- OHS/HSE experience
- Major project experience
- Qualifications in the electrical, electronic or mechanical fields highly desired
