Boasting exceptional team environment, this people focussed organisation is known for innovative projects and supportive culture. Due to growth within the business, this ever-changing organisation is now looking to appoint a HSE Advisor to work onsite and lead safety initiatives for key projects.
What you'll do:
Reporting into the HSE Manager and working closely with the project team, you will be responsible for:
- Provide health and safety guidance onsite, collaborating with leaders and employees to ensure effective implementation of safety protocols and promote key safety initiatives;
- Drive the development and execution of health and safety improvement plans;
- Champion the use of health and safety management systems and risk mitigation strategies;
- Develop and deliver training materials and awareness campaigns;
- Conduct thorough investigations and root cause analyses for incidents, promoting a culture of learning; and
- Work closely with the corporate HSE team to develop and implement key safety programs and frameworks.
About you:
To be considered for this role, you will be have:
- Experience providing a wide range of health and safety support and knowledge to a diverse employee base in a similar high risk, heavy industry;
- Experience in developing and implementing site-based improvement plans and communications;
- Experience in working with and delivery within health and safety risk management frameworks in a high-risk environment;
- Ability to understand and apply legislation and regulatory requirements in the organisations processes; and
- Experience in developing new processes and tools for management of site-based risks.
