ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to extensive growth, we are currently seeking an HSE Advisor to join our Projects team on a FIFO 14:7 roster from Perth. The successful candidate will primarily support the leadership group on-site to ensure that HSE functions are performed and managed in accordance with legislative requirements and Warrikal's policies and procedures by:
- Undertaking HSE duties to support the prevention of injuries.
- Maintaining and fostering an effective working environment
- Implementing HSE initiatives.
- Facilitating site-based project inductions and awareness training.
- Coaching the development of qualitative risk assessments.
- Conducting workplace inspections.
- Supporting compliance with hazard and materials risk management.
- Communicating HSE expectations and requirements during pre-start and client meetings.
- Providing immediate support for incident investigations, hazard management and follow-up on closeout actions.
- Minimum Cert IV HSE or Diploma in OHS.
- Proven 2 years + experience in a similar capacity on Civil Projects.
- Formal incident investigation training (TapRoot, Essential Factors or ICAM).
- Demonstrated FIFO experience in the mining and resource sector.
- Sound knowledge of risk management.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
