We are currently seeking applications from highly skilled and safety focused HSE Advisors to join our team on a casual basis for upcoming shutdown work, on Curtis Island off the coast of Gladstone.
To be considered for a role it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following skills and experience:
Cert IV Work Health & Safety (WHS), or equivalent as a minimum
Minimum 5 – 10 years demonstrated experienced in a similar HSE Advisor role in either the maintenance, construction or shutdown environment
Demonstrated experience in Incident Investigation, ICAM Investigations, Root Cause Analysis
Desirable skills and experience include:
Experience in high risk activities
Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) or equivalent
Cert IV in Environmental Monitoring and Technology or equivalent, desirable
Team player with high attention to detail
Advanced interpersonal & communication skills
Key Accountabilities:
Adopt UGL values of Safety, Integrity, Outstanding Customer Service, Honest and Openness in Communication and Teamwork
Actively implement, review and improve the HSE Management System
Integrate client and UGL HSE systems as required
Provide advice and coaching to Project Managers, Superintendents and, Supervisors on project specific HSE reporting and analysis for client and management needs
Monitor workplace behaviours and compliance
