We currently have an opportunity for an HSE Governance and Risk Assurance Manager to provide technical leadership and systems subject matter expertise to the HBS HSE business across the APAC region. Reporting to the AP HSE Director the role will lead continuous improvement to assist stakeholders in effectively implementing innovative & auditable HSE compliance and risk processes to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve efficiencies, identify and assess areas of HSE compliance risk and prepare recommendations to reduce risk and foster a culture of compliance throughout the region
- Ensure HSE management systems always meet all corporate and regulatory requirements
- Lead strategic plan development and implementation across the region
- Facilitate cultural change to improve HSE awareness in the workplace to reduce injuries, illness, and environmental impact by personally providing a strong example of HSE leadership presence across operational sites
- Monitor dashboards and key annual operating data trends assisting the teams to deliver targets
Experience & Capabilities:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in driving & deploying HSE within a business
- BSc or MSc degree in HSEPS, Engineering or equivalent subject matter
- Experience in an HSE leadership role with demonstrated operational and system experience
- Demonstrated ability in process management, workflow including use of tools such as Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel
- Experience in developing systems and procedures across regions
