This senior position takes responsibility for the training of users in the billing, receipting and debt recovery operations in the Transactional Services Department, and throughout the organisation, to ensure quality service delivery to patients and their families, staff and clients of SCHN.
The Training and Quality Services Manager will use their knowledge and experience to consult, facilitate, deliver and implement Training and education to operational staff, Clinicians and other hospital professionals in the patient billing system. The position will promote the system, and work in association with the Systems Data Manager, to identify and respond to service requirements. With strong problem solving skills, this role identifies potential issues, develops and implements strategies to ensure these are resolved in a professional manner. This position plays a key role in maintaining relationships with other departments in SCHN and requires a full understanding of business and operational aspects of service delivery.

- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining effective and productive relationships at senior management level and with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to identify new opportunities for improvement and show initiative in implementing new systems and processes
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to communicate effectively and concisely to staff at various levels of a healthcare organisation
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and present Training and education programs to internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated understanding of Quality Assurance principles, ideally within the health sector
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and problem solve with limited direction
