Your New Role:
They are on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated Senior Safety Advisor looking to step up into HSE Managers role to become a key player in our dynamic corporate team.
You'll be working on exciting new and ongoing projects across North, South, and Inner West Sydney Suburbs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing IMS systems and procedures across all projects.
- Conducting thorough reporting, investigations, assessments, and audits.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with management and project teams to develop and implement the IMS, including achieving accreditation.
- Overseeing IMS requirements and WHS obligations for site teams.
- Ensuring our core values are reflected in every project.
- Complying with all company WHS and Quality systems, policies, and procedures.
- Upholding the company's Code of Honor and business strategies.
- Adhering to all legislative requirements related to anti-discrimination, WHS, environmental, and industrial relations management.
- Training, mentoring, coaching, and supervising staff on company systems.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with team members and clients.
- Representing the company at site meetings, functions, and corporate events.
- Contributing positively to the work environment and participating in extracurricular activities.
- Relevant HSEQ qualifications (HSE Diploma equivalent or higher).
- Proven experience as a Senior Safety Advisor OR Safety Manager in construction.
- Ability to maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
- Proficiency in identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing effective safety measures.
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey safety guidelines.
- A genuine passion for HSEQ and a continuous eagerness to learn.
