The Role
As a HSEQ coordinator you will be working as a pivotal member of our team and supported by our broader HSEQ team. The successful applicant will possess a can do attitude and be well organised. The role will involve liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders, you'll have the unique opportunity to work closely with our HSEQ & Operational teams, receiving their invaluable support and guidance while taking charge of the business's daily HSEQ needs.

Based in Morningside, we benefit from convenient access to various forms of public transportation.
Corvex is looking to fill a permanent office position with some travel required between head office, sites and interstate branches, hours Monday – Friday 8.00am-5.00pm (with some flexibility with start/finish times)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the implementation of new and existing company policies, procedures and processes and continually improve its effectiveness.
- Undertake internal HSEQ audits to monitor compliance and identify non-compliance issues.
- Support initiatives and tasks relating to compliance.
- Assist in managing corrective action plans to resolve non-compliance issues identified during internal audits.
- Develop and review Site Specific Safety Documents, Control Plans and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Undertaking investigations into safety incidents with a proactive mindset, and swiftly implementing corrective measures to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborating with project managers, operations teams, HSEQ and department heads to seamlessly integrate safety protocols into project plans, ensuring a culture of safety at every stage.
- Assist staff and ensuring all personnel conform to policies and procedures to ensure consistency across the business.
- Coordinate with HSEQ team to ensure implementation of RTWC plans.
- Oversight of induction and ongoing training.
Ideal Candidate:
- We're seeking someone with a minimum nationally certified diploma or certificate 4 qualification in Work Health and Safety (WH&S).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office application.
- Demonstrated experience in safety management systems and ISO accreditation process for ISO 9001, Iso 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Previous experience in the Asbestos removal, Construction, Demolition, Mould Remediation and/or Lead abatement sectors would be highly regarded.
Skills & Experience:
- Highly competent in Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Personal drive and commitment with strong attention to detail, ability to use your initiative and meet tight deadlines
- High Attention to detail.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
