Our Opportunity 

 Due to Company growth, we have an opportunity for a HSEQ Coordinator to join our team. This position will be working with our field teams in Stapylton and Rocklea Depots.  Travel will be required on a need’s basis between these two sites.

You will be passionate about all things Health, Safety, Environment and Quality with the ability to communicate to stakeholders across our organisation including our Field Operators. You will be part of the Service Centre Team who are accountable to deliver our Customers’ requirements, as well as being part of a wider Safety/Compliance Team.  You will be responsible to:

• Provide advice and lead the HSEQ culture to ensure your site operations teams are committed to compliance of relevant Safety and Environmental legislation, including internal quality requirements.
• Assist with site specific inductions in consultation with Operations teams.
• Assist with contributing to the population of Contract HSEQ prequalification and tender documents as required.
• Ensure on-site reviews are completed in accordance with the schedule.
• Oversee any Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions processes, resulting from Audit findings.
• Develop and implement HSEQ policies and processes at a site level.
• Ensure processes needed for the PMA HSEQ management system are implemented and maintained.
• Assist in various activities, including but not limited to SWMS development, risk identification, incident reporting and investigation, pollution prevention and control of compliance activities in all areas of HSE.
• Ensure effective promotion of awareness of HSE requirements throughout the organization.
• Provide advice to management and supervision within the assigned assets or locations on HSE regulatory compliance and applicable industry practices.
• Responsible for administrating the company fitness for work policy including drug and alcohol testing as required. 
• Determine training requirements in accordance with the Training Matrix and facilitate organisation of training with suppliers. 
• Coordinate compliance testing and tagging across fleet and depots.

Your Skills will ideally be:

• Work Health and Safety Cert IV or willingness to achieve.
• Knowledge across ISO45001, ISO9001 and ISO14001 requirements.
• Proven experience writing SWMS across a variety of work environments.
• General workers compensation experience including supporting Return-to-Work plans.
• Ability to adapt communication style to meet the requirements of multifaceted teams.
• Incident Management and investigation experience preferred. 
• Confidence in using MS Office Suite.
• Sound negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflict, handle complaints and manage complex situations.
• Ability to think innovatively, identify improvements to existing business processes and systems.
• Some experience in the interpretation and application of relevant HSE Acts, Regulations, Australian Standards/ Codes of Practice.
