Ideal Candidate
We continue to grow and expand our team! We are looking for a person who shares our purpose and who brings value as HSEQ Coordinator in our office in Adelaide CBD.
You will work closely with site teams, so the ability to monitor and report on their performance is essential
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting periodical site visits and carry out internal audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental management systems
- Investigating accidents and incidents, and providing recommendations for prevention.
- Maintaining and updating safety records and reports.
- Staying current with industry regulations and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of safety policies for the sites and take charge of preparing and maintaining HSEQ reports and documentation.
- Promoting a culture of safety awareness among all site personnel.
- Ensuring all personnel have the required safety training and equipment.

- Operate within established business processes to create a culture of integrity and professionalism.
Role will be working from our office in Pirie Street Adelaide CBD & the employee will be reviewed at end of probation period (6months) with a possibility to work from home for the right person who has demonstrated reliability, efficiency, making deadlines & ability to work productively autonomously etc.
Experience
- Cert IV or Diploma level in Work Health and Safety or related safety qualifications
- Demonstrated skills and experience in a safety coordinator role
- Working knowledge of safety procedures, legislation, and project management plans
- Have a Current Drivers Licence and White Card
- Have management and leadership capabilities
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
- Trained incident investigator (ICAM or equivalent) is desirable.
- Certified in Drug and Alcohol testing is an asset.
