The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Bar & Restaurant, Executive Lounge and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the Brisbane Airport, it is the first accommodation, meeting and event space to be developed in this precinct.
The group is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator on a full-time basis for ibis and Pullman Hotels Brisbane Airport, reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources. You will be responsible for working closely with Department Heads to drive and foster a positive work environment within the Hotels and Conference Centre.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating employment contracts, employee files and induction packs.
- end-to-end recruitment
- Maintain timely workflow of the HR Administration tasks.
- WHS & RTW Compliance
- Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020 interpretation and coaching department heads
- Employee engagement & culture
- Assist the Department Heads with coordination of employee rewards and benefits programs.
- Coordinate weekly payroll collection and processing with Finance.
- Facilitation of Performance Management processes & policies
To be successful in this role:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field preferred, however not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- An outgoing personality with strong attention to detail.
- Proven administrative, organisational and time management skills.
- The adaptability to build strong internal and external working relationships.
- Previous experience delivering the HR function within a Hospitality environment will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020
- Understanding of National Employment Standards & other IR Legislation
- Proficient in Adobe and Canva and multiple software solutions
