Human Resources Partner - Farming Industry at Perfection Fresh
Are you ready to step into the vibrant world of agriculture and make an impact? Perfection Fresh is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to cover a 9-month maternity leave, bringing expertise in complex investigations and union relations.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: During this maternity leave cover, you will closely collaborate with our Farm Teams, providing expert guidance and support to ensure the continued execution of our HR Strategic Plan. This professional will provide support to the Chief People Officer by assisting with ongoing investigations and grievances.
- Lead Human Resource functions for our Farming units, including talent acquisition, Industrial Relations, and leadership development.
- Contribute to Group HR strategies to maintain alignment with organisational objectives.
- Offer insights on award interpretation and legislation, partnering closely with our Chief People Officer.
- Address internal grievances and performance issues in line with company policies.
- Develop and implement strategies to navigate workplace challenges, promoting stakeholder engagement.
- Work alongside our Work Health and Safety Manager to promote a culture of safety across our Farms.
- Coordinate Return to Work programs for a smooth transition of employees.
- Participate in shaping Group-wide policies and communication initiatives.
- Manage relationships with local labor providers, adhering to Ethical Sourcing guidelines.
- Provide support to payroll operations as required.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- Proven experience in HR within manufacturing/FMCG or similar industries, with a focus on industrial award application and third-party representation.
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and industrial awards.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, and analytical platforms.
- Collaborative mindset, able to seamlessly integrate into local management teams.
- Experience in the fresh produce sector or horticulture is advantageous.
- Must have be experience in Australian Employment Law
