Working closely with the CEO, we have an opportunity for a motivated and people-focused professional to provide generalist support for the business and drive HR initiatives.
About the role:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process including contracts and position description development.
- Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Partner with the leadership team to offer support, counsel and direction regarding staffing initiatives and challenges.
- Review, develop, and implement policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Manage the employee performance review process.
- Maintain accurate, compliant and confidential employee records.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting employee engagement and well-being.
About you:
- Strong understanding of HR legislation, principles and practices
- Passionate about people and their well-being
- Experience with employee relations and industrial relations.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Positive, friendly and professional can-do attitude;
- Extremely well organised with good problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Min 3 years as a Human Resources Manager
This role is initially a part-time role approx.10-15 hours per week (flexible with days) with the potential for more hours in the future. We have a friendly and fun work culture, onsite parking at our Marion Road office and an attractive remuneration package (pro-rata).
