WEL is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources & Administrative Services Officer to join our team based in Geraldton, offering an attractive salary with salary sacrifice opportunities.
The Role
This position is responsible for supporting the effective delivery of a range of Human Resources and administrative functions, with a dual reporting line to both the HR Manager and the Office Manager.
Duties will include supporting the HR Manager with recruitment and selection, creation and maintenance of employee records and delivering new starter orientations and inductions. You will also assist the Office Manager with day to day administrative tasks, including reviewing and verifying invoices, corresponding with suppliers, reviewing purchase orders, maintaining stationery and office consumable supplies and organising meetings and catering requirements.

Essential Criteria
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role/s providing generalist advice, support and administrative duties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence delivering presentations in front of audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and set priorities, undertake new tasks quickly and meet deadlines.
- Sound understanding of confidentiality.
- Proficient in the use of technology, including MS Teams, MS Office, Zoom, social media platforms and client management systems.
- Current WA ‘C’ class licence.
- Current Police Check (or ability to obtain).
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in a HR administration role.
- Previous experience working with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander People.
