Key Responsibilities:
- Workforce Planning & Recruitment: Drive strategic initiatives for talent acquisition and internal mobility to support business objectives.
- Performance Management: Implement robust performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and engagement.
- Engagement and Retention: Develop strategies to foster a culture of employee engagement and retention.
- Succession Planning: Lead succession planning efforts to ensure continuity in key roles.
- HR Strategy Planning & Delivery: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Employee and Industrial Relations: Manage employee relations matters and lead enterprise agreement negotiations with external unions.
- Policy Development: Develop, review, and revise HR policies to ensure compliance with local regulations and address current business challenges.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Regional People & Culture team to ensure alignment with corporate and divisional HR practices and priorities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in mid to senior HR roles, with strong expertise in performance management, workforce planning, and industrial relations.
- Legal Compliance: Demonstrated experience with the practical application of relevant labor laws, including the Fair Work Act, and negotiating enterprise agreements in a unionized environment.
- Education: Tertiary qualifications in HR management, business administration, or related field.
- Competencies: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
