Responsibilities
Working as HighForce’s solo HR Manager your role will be broad and varied, including:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of employee relations requirements and reduce risks related to daily management of employees, including award and pay audits, employment contracts, position descriptions, and HR policies and procedures
- Assist management in performance management, disciplinary and conflict resolution
- Set standards for values and behaviours for the company through the implementation across all HR strategies
- Recruitment and onboard new employees
- Research and analyse employee trends to understand ways to increase employee engagement and retention
The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas related to the human resources field. They should be comfortable recruiting and onboarding new employees as well as coaching leaders in the leadership and management of their teams. The successful candidate should work closely with management in order to understand business needs, develop and implement the people and culture plan, provide training for employees and establish ways to increase employee engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in HR or related field, preferably in a blue-collar environment
- Strong coaching, organisation, communication and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and onboard new employees and manage HR compliance requirements, including modern awards and Fair Work Act
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
