Located in our newly built head office in the Ipswich CBD, an opportunity exists to join council as a Business Partner.
This is a rare opportunity to bring your human resources (HR) and leadership skills to the team while you benefit from opportunities for collaboration and development in a highly flexible work and supportive work environment.
Working within a collaborative and supportive team, your role as a Business Partner will be to actively partner with your client group by coaching and mentoring senior leaders within your portfolio to drive the implementation of human resource HR strategies and initiatives.
As a trusted advisor, the People and Culture Business Partner will focus on building workforce capability, leading discussions on culture and engagement, managing discipline and return-to-work matters, leading performance management investigations and providing expert business focussed HR advice and guidance and support.

What's on offer
There are two fixed term positions, level 7 with a salary commencing at $110,575 plus superannuation of up to 12.50%.
- One position from June 2024 – January 2025
- One position from July 2024 – May 2025
