About Your Role:
As a HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of all HR-related activities within our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing HR functions, developing, and implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering a positive workplace environment.
Duties may include:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and NDIS requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to senior management on HR-related matters.
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops for staff members.
- Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve staff retention and reduce turnover rates.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct investigations into workplace complaints, grievances, or conflicts as required.
- Ensure all investigations are conducted in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to managers in performance
- Assist in setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and addressing performance issues.
- Manage the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, and interviewing.
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage WorkCover claims and liaise with insurers and medical professionals as required.
- Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and standards.
- Coordinate injury management processes and facilitate return-to-work programs for employees.
- Support employees throughout the rehabilitation process and ensure compliance with return-to-work plans.

You will be/have:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in the disability sector or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of NDIS regulations and requirements.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and legislation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software applications.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
