About The role
As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and directing the Human Resource Management, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices. Your responsibilities will include:
- People: Lead recruitment, candidate selection, and onboarding processes; manage job design, evaluation, and performance appraisals; handle staff movements and probation reviews; and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Health and Safety: Collaborate with the WHS Officer to manage Work Cover and Return to Work processes, coordinate workforce training and induction procedures, maintain accurate records of induction, training, and safety checks, and foster a safety-aware culture across the company for a secure workplace.
- Training and Development: Develop and maintain HR procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws, prepare and communicate reports for streamlined administration, and collaborate with management in the development of training programs.
- Maintenance: Collaborate on safety checks and inspections, ensuring legislative compliance, while maintaining records of these checks and inspections, and developing programs to upkeep station grounds and infrastructure in good condition.
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant HR Management experience.
- Return to Work Coordinator Certificates.
- Motor vehicle licence (C Class).
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Demonstrate effective communication and negotiation skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
