The Role
This is a wide reaching and independent position where you will make a positive contribution to the organisation by facilitating the full HR function. You can expect to directly contribute to the development, growth, and wellbeing of our employees, as well as ensuring compliance to relevant laws and regulations.
How will you do this?
- Maintain strong employee relationships as a point of contact for HR enquiries through to providing counselling on policies and procedures.
- Run the fortnightly payroll process.
- Undertake and support hiring managers with the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process.
- Coordinate training programs across the organisation and communicate details of training events to relevant employees.
- Manage the Workcover process and return to work program.
- Administrative tasks including maintaining employee files, licensing, HRIS updates.
Due to the nature of the business, we can offer this role on a hybrid working basis (min. 2-3 days per week on site), with the majority of our operations being based around Moree. We encourage applicants from the Northern NSW region, Goondiwindi, or Toowoomba to apply.
About You
Above all, we are looking for someone who brings a commonsense approach to Human Resources to connect with and coach leaders and employees in the business to ensure effective management of policies, wellbeing and change management.
This is a largely independent role so a background in Human Resources coupled with a relevant qualification is essential to your success. Taking the lead on the HR Function in the business means proven experience understanding employment laws, regulation and best practices and the knowledge of how to practically find solutions to challenges.
