CSA Mine is looking for Human Resources Officer to join the team. Reporting to the HR Superintendent, you will work with a team that is highly focused to provide front-end onboarding/offboarding of employees to the business whilst striving to meet the plan. You will work in one of the world’s most iconic mining districts, which has the second highest grade copper mine in the country.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Facilitating the onboarding of new employees, (induction request, user access request, complete travel form, notice to business).
- Facilitating off boarding of existing employees (acknowledgment of resignation, notice to business, confidential exit report).
- Ensuring data is kept up to date and relevant regarding all recruitment activities
- Assisting HR Advisors in facilitating probation employment reviews.
- Assisting HR Advisors in drafting employee related documentation (letters of offer, reclassification letters, change of roster/crew).
- Continually reviewing and improving existing processes and practices by being an active member of the HR Team.
- Maintaining effective, accurate and confidential personnel records for all CSA employees
- Assisting with Human Resources reporting, trend monitoring, and projects as assigned.
About you:
- Cert III in Human Resources/Business Administration (desirable)
- Experience in a Human Resources Officer or possess strong administration skills
- Experience in onboarding/off boarding new employees (desirable)
- Strong Computer and Microsoft Office Suite Skills
- Ability to be target focused and meets deadlines, is punctual and keeps to schedule, and is reliable in finishing tasks.

Conditions
This is a residential position and is offered on 5/2 – 4/3 Roster. 12 weeks of free transit accommodation is provided to assist the successful applicant to source their own accommodation locally. CSA also provides Pool & Gym Reimbursements to our employees and their dependants.
