About the role
The People and Culture Administration Officer will assist in various operational and administrative tasks spanning the entire employee lifecycle within the People & Culture domain. Responsibilities encompass recruitment, drafting contracts and employment correspondence, assisting with facilitating learning and development programs, onboarding and offboarding processes, performance management, employee relations, and managing HR Information Systems (HRIS). Additionally, this role will extend administrative support in matters related to workplace health and safety, including Workers' Compensation and Return to Work procedures.
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Human Resources and/or 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to contribute to the improvement of P&C services and operations including workflows, processes, and systems.
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, judgement, initiative, and sensitivity in the performance of duties and dealings with employees and members of the public.
- Commitment to undertaking continuing professional development.
- Return to Work and Workers Compensation experience is highly desirable.
- Current Manual Driver’s Licence
- Working with Children’s Check NSW
- National Police Check
- Pre-employment Medical
