Oral Health Therapist & Dental Hygiene Therapists Opportunities:
We are seeking skilled and passionate Oral Health Therapist & Dental Hygiene Therapists to join our team in various regional locations in Australia. As a Dentist at Abano Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a modern and well-equipped dental practice, providing a wide range of dental services to patients.
Abano can provide 482 regional visas to International Oral Health Therapist & Dental Hygiene Therapists who can secure unrestricted licensing with the Australian Dental Board on AHPRA. You will be required to work in a regional location in Australia which can include but not limited to:
- Queensland - Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Roma, Toowoomba.
- New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory - South Coast NSW, Armidale, Bathurst, Coffs Harbour, Foster, Lismore and the Northern Rivers.
- Tasmania - Hobart, Invermay
- Victoria - Geelong
- South Australia - Adelaide, Clare Valley, Port Lincoln.
- Western Australia - Perth, Mandurah, Busselton
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing educational programs to motivate children, parents and the community in matters relating to oral health
- Providing fluoride therapy by applying remineralising solutions and desensitising agents
- Removing deposits from teeth
- Applying non-invasive fissure sealants to teeth
- Taking impressions of the mouth
- Taking dental radiographs
- Administering local anaesthesia by infiltration and mandibular nerve block
- Fabricating full and partial dentures
- Constructing mouth guards, crowns, metal clasps, inlays, bridgework and other aids
- Repairing and relining denture bases
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Dental Hygiene or Oral Health or equivalent qualification recognised by the Dental Board of Australia.
- Full registration with AHPRA.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
