About the Role
Crohn’s & Colitis Australia is seeking a dynamic Project Officer to support projects that will make a difference to the health of people living with IBD. The initial focus of the role will be a national prevalence and burden of IBD project. Future project will relate to health professional education and consumer awareness and education. You will be a self-starter with excellent people skills and knowledge of the not-for-profit sector. You will be supporting projects, in collaboration with management, stakeholders, consumers and their carers. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of defined project outcomes within agreed timeframes, budgets, quality and resources. The role will require research and analysis to inform project development, implementation, senior management and advisory committees.
Experience and skills required
- Health science or clinical health related qualification
- Experience in research surveys, data management and report writing
- Experienced working with multiple stakeholders and/or clinicians
- Project management skills
- Demonstrated high attention to detail, organisational and communication skills
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
