Primary Objective:
The ICT Business Analyst will be required to analyse and determine business solutions for strategically important projects, and where necessary facilitate the execution of such solutions across the HUB24 group of entities.
Key Responsibilities:
-Analysis, design and implementation fit for purpose
-Work with Strategic Solutions Analysts, Consultants, third parties, IT, and internal stakeholders to analyse, design and implement solutions that are appropriate in scale and complexity for the purpose intended.
-Solutions that take into consideration the legislative framework in which Hub24 and our clients/subsidiary companies operate. Take reasonable steps in analysis and solution design to incorporate and manage the legislative environment in which we operate, and risks associated with new initiatives.
-Solutions implemented that are well understood by all key stakeholders and are supported by appropriate processes. Ensure key stakeholders are engaged throughout the process and issues, ideas and concerns addressed as they arise. Solution design also needs to consider the ongoing management/administration effort of the change.
-Solutions that are in alignment with the HUB24 group strategic vision. Where a range of potential solutions exist, ensure the group strategic vision is factored into the choices made.
Key Requirements:
-A strong understanding of accounting and financial concepts
-Previous experience as a Business Analyst (or closely related role) 5 years plus preferred
-Demonstrated ability to work with users to formulate and document business requirements
-Strong analytical skills relating to the development of efficient processes and procedures
-Demonstrated ability to create user stories and functional specifications for System Developers
-Good general knowledge of data cleansing and data quality concepts
-Ability to create and execute test plans
-Working knowledge of SQL or similar data query language
-Strong XL skills
-Build strong working relationships built on trust and respect
-Articulate and present critical arguments
-Build rapport and professional credibility
