Financial Services partner with all areas of CommBank to specialist advice, support and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy, technology, and investor relations.See yourself in our teamTechnology finance is a specialist team that supports the Group’s technology area with strategic advice, commercial and financial analysis to ensure optimal strategic decision making and operational excellence.Technology Finance’s mission is to “influence strategic outcomes through transparent insights and passionate people”.Your role is to support the Chief Security Officer, Executive Leadership Team and the Board in making efficient and confident decisions on the bank’s investment in its security posture and inform them on the effectiveness and efficiency of said investments.Your team forms part of the wider Technology Finance Team of approximately 90 people and provides financial management, planning and controls services to Group and Business Unit CIOs.Your role is to be:
- Developing forecasts and analysis of the internal investments and BAU spend for senior management and project stakeholders.
- Long range planning and budgeting on the group’s strategic security investments as well as traditional BAU spend.
- Working with senior commercial analysts to ensure completeness and accuracy of the month end process.
- Monthly investment spend forecasts and insights for senior management.
- Reporting on the effectiveness and efficiency of the investment spend and resources.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting including workforce and license spend.
- Adhoc analysis of the project delivery workforce and allocation of funding with focus on optimisation.
- Assist in the preparation of Annual Operating Plans and Quarterly Business Review memos.
- Process improvement / automation of processes to streamline work.
- To provide independent review of strategic security investments and transactions and advice to the Technology CFO and Chief Security Officer.
- Engage with people across various parts of the Group; stakeholder management and communication skills are paramount in this role.
