They are on the search for an ICT Manager to join the team on a permanent basis and work collabortatively with the wider senior leadership team on a number of key technical initiatives.
As the ICT Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the management and development of the my client's ICT infrastructure and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the ICT team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Develop and implement ICT strategies aligned with the educational facility's goals and objectives.
- Manage the organisation's ICT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems.
- Oversee the procurement and deployment of ICT hardware, software, and services.
- Ensure the security and integrity of ICT systems and data, implementing best practices and policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address ICT needs and opportunities.
- Provide training and support to staff and students on ICT systems and tools.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends relevant to the education sector.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar ICT management role, preferably within the education sector.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Expertise in ICT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, and cloud services.
- Knowledge of educational technologies and their application in teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and external partners.
