The ICT Officer – Cybersecurity provides advice in the within the Security Operations team and is responsible for maintaining the security posture of the organisation's digital assets and infrastructure.
About the role:
- Provide high level technical support in the delivery and operation of information systems and services
- Provide an initial point of technical contact for managed Security Operations Centre (SOC)
- Support and enhance the platforms and services provided by the Security Operations team across one or more domains including Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Data Loss Prevention, Awareness Training, Monitoring. Undertake analysis, development, administration, user support and operational activities.

About you: To be successful in this role you will demonstrate
- Degree or Diploma qualifications in Information Technology.
- Proven experience working in cybersecurity roles, with an understanding of developing and supporting enterprise level applications.
- Proficient in implementing and maintaining information systems, prioritising cybersecurity requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Track record of maintaining and supporting information systems effectively.
Actively shares technical expertise and documents processes to enhance team collaboration and security practices.
