About the position
The ICT Officer is primarily responsible for providing a customer focused service assisting the ICT team in with Level 1 queries from end users and other aspects of the information and communication technology environment as guided by the team. The ICT Officer will work as part of a team to ensure the smooth resolution of basic queries within Ability WA and support projects within the broader team.
This position is fixed term (until 21 February 2025) Full Time contract, based at Coolbinia
As an ICT officer, you will:
- Support day to day administration of ICT Service Desk, including on-site/off-site attendance.
- Assisting with hardware and software tracking/record maintenance.
- Assisting with Active Directory management including user maintenance, group maintenance, folder access security administration – Level 1.
- Provide customer focused support to staff, including on-site/off-site attendance.
- Provision of direct support and assistance to all Ability WA users
- Assist with set up/decommission of desktops, laptops, and printers etc. under supervision/direction.

About You
What we’ll need to help kick-start your journey with us:
- Relevant IT qualifications (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician MCDST and A+ Certificate or equivalent or Cert IV in Technology).
- Experience in providing customer support services.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including liaison with persons at all levels.
- Moderate physical fitness (to move equipment).
- Good time management and organisational skills combined with a capacity to prioritise workload.
- Experience with hardware (computers), programs (software) and communication (voice and data) equipment.
- National Police Clearance no older than 6 months, Current Driver’s Licence, NDIS Workers Orientation Module, NDIS Worker Screening check and COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
