One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Project Managerto deliver management of various ICT projects and scrum rituals for Software Delivery projects. The role primarily will be based out of their Canberra office with remote work available as they offer flexible working arrangements. The successful Project Managerswill be offered a 12 month contract with 2 X 12 month extension options.
The successfulProject Managerwill be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Delivering projects using Agile methodology and facilitating Agile rituals for the project team
- Preparing resource plans and managing project budgets and timelines
- Undertaking complex work activities covering technical, financial and governance issues
- Creating and presenting status reports and committee packs for the Project Board/Steering Committee meetings
The successful Project Managerwill have experience in the following:
- Experience with Project Management Systems that are used in Agile and Waterfall environments
- Demonstrated experience managing project finances and Software Application projects
- Ability to adapt to Project Management methods ensuring effective project monitoring and risk management
- Qualifications or accreditation in Project Management, eg Prince2, PMP OR PMBOK (desirable)
