Hence, we need an ICT Security Specialist to perform the following tasks and responsibilities:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Building and managing ICT systems and components in virtualised and cloud computing environments.
2. Identify incidents/issues, analyse risks and alerting, and propose mitigation action.
3. Monitoring of security systems.
4. Investigate incidents and risk findings and propose mitigation actions.
5. Support threat response programs and procedures.
6. Execute targeted hunts for malicious activity, documenting and developing proactive detection signatures and automation to detect malicious activity and streamline response.
7. Ensure delivery of security services and guidance for teams in identifying control objectives and any potential control gaps.
8. Analyses, recommends, installs and maintains software security applications and monitors contractual obligations, performance delivery and service level agreements.
9. Develop, deliver, and maintain a security strategy that addresses current and future business needs and provides a framework to resolve security threats.
10. Provide expert advice on security strategies, solutions, and integrations for end-point security, hosting security, email security, gateway security, network security, encryption and cloud security.
11. Assisted in the design, implementation, and continuous uplift of cyber security tooling, processes, and procedures.
12. Assisted in the engineering development and change process in relation to ICT assessment, recommendations, and advice on remediation.
13. Assist with the creation and amendment of cyber documentation in support of the program capabilities and individual systems, covering Engineering and Maintenance activities.
14. Contribute to routine threat intelligence gathering tasks. Monitor and detect potential security threats and escalate in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
15. Undertakes routine vulnerability assessments using automated and semi-automated tools.
Appropriate candidates must have the following skills, education and experience:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Higher Degree in a related field
Australian Experience: At least 5 + years of Australian Experience OR
Overseas Experience: At least 5+ years of Overseas Experience
Specialist: ICT Security
Work Rights: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder
