MGA Thermal is a revolutionary Australian clean energy company with a breakthrough form of energy storage. Miscibility Gap Alloy (MGA) Blocks store and deliver thermal energy while remaining outwardly solid. A Unique Opportunity
We are offering an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of continually improving MGA Thermal’s safety procedures and operations. This role will actively identify hazards and risks, optimising workforce safety and minimizing potential damage to the company’s workforce and property. With your extensive knowledge of legislated WHS requirements and industry relevant best practices, you will ensure that MGA Thermal completes its mission in a safe manner with zero LTI and near misses. The Role
This role will be accountable for:
- Ensuring that suitable safety policies, management systems and controls are applied appropriately 24 x 7.
- Serving as a subject matter expert in safety systems including overseeing and implementing incident reporting, investigations, site operational audits, and other necessary actions to support manufacturing, R&D and business leadership.
- Developing and implementing the processes and systems required for the WHS Management System.
- Supporting the mitigation of business continuity risks through emergency preparedness plans
- Preparing and delivering regular reports for management, highlighting key safety metrics and areas for improvement
