ICT Technical Writer / e-Learning Developer
The Technology Division requires an ICT Technical Writer/e-learning Developer resource to deliver technical design documentation and e-learning artefacts. In addition to the above-referenced SFIA role description/responsibilities, the successful candidate must be able to satisfy the following role-specific selection criteria: Essential criteria
To fulfil the responsibilities of the role, the following criteria are considered essential:
- Ability to produce technical documentation and artefacts to a high standard by collating and organising the technical knowledge from the project design leads.
- Ability to produce artefacts for non-technical audiences to explain new enhancement and feature designs, including engaging and interactive video modules, materials, and resources.
- Deliver knowledge content clearly and concisely in various mediums, tailored to the unique needs and skill levels of diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with internal business teams to stay up-to-date on the latest features and advancements through a software lifecycle change.
- Cultivate strong relationships with project team members, and business areas acting as a trusted point of contact.
- Throughout the software change continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge artefacts making necessary improvements and adjustments.
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams and Adobe Captivate•
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM solutions.
- Experience working within project teams
- Agile product development techniques.
- Understanding of and experience in federal government organisations.
- Broad knowledge of software development and delivery lifecycles within government.
- Knowledge of information security and privacy.
