Additional information:
These roles are Permanent, Part-time 30hrs/fortnight
The internal job title for this role is IKEA Food Co-worker
As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day from 8am (AM shift) and evenings (up to 9:30pm PM shift). You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
RECRUITMENT PROCESS

If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2-full day Welcome induction from Monday 18 March 2024.
If successful, your shifts will commence from Monday 18 March 2024.
About this work area
As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.
Active selling, cash handling, operation of ovens & fryers.
As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are:
Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment. Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded.
Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
