Import Coordinator - Air Freight

Our Global client has been in operation for over 120 years and is the leading Multinational Company in international shipping offering a variety of services in the form of ocean, air and truck shipments around the world.
  
ABOUT THE ROLE
  
The Import Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Import function from receipt of an order through to delivery whilst providing exceptional customer service within a timely manner.
  
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaising with customers and providing exceptional customer service
• Coordinating QAUIS inspections and formalities
• Coordinating deliveries
• Following billing processes 
• Assisting with tenders
• Participating in general office and warehouse tasks as required 
• Monitoring the progress of customs   

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Customer service experience
• Current unrestricted drivers licence
• Knowledge of freight forwarding terminology   
• Knowledge within Customs ICS and Cyberfreight 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite’
• 1-2 years experience within a similar position   

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Cargowise experience
• Sea freight exposure
