Description
This role is responsible for Import/ Export activities. Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):
- Ensuring compliance with import/export regulations.
- Preparing and submitting accurate documentation for customs clearance.
- Coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers for smooth goods movement.
- Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Preparing and reviewing shipping documents.
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all documentation to prevent delays.
- Liaising with international suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve issues or discrepancies.
- Providing timely updates on shipment status to relevant stakeholders.
To be considered for this role you will have/ be:
- Proven Australian experience as an Import/Export Operator.
- Proficiency using Cargowise.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics operations.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and systems.
