THE COMPANY:

Headquartered in the US, this business distributes to over 100 countries and has offices and distribution centres across the globe.

THE ROLE:
This is a permanent, Full Time, Import/Logistics Operations Coordinator role and will be based in Richmond, Victoria. This role will play a key part in the high-volume supply chain and logistics operations for the business here in Australia.
Key duties and responsibilities include;

  • Active management of freight forwarding partners. Including local & international shipments, customs clearance, and reporting on freight costs to maintain low shipping expenses.
  • Processing of customer orders to ensure price accuracy, stock availability, and monitoring delivery due dates; handling stock needs for both independent and department store retailers/distributors.
  • Communicating with 3PL partner on expected order volumes and delivery timelines
  • Providing customer service through escalations, investigations, resolutions, problem solving, status updates, and coordinating pickups with warehouse, customers, and sales representatives.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have a curious mindset with a problem-solving attitude. This business is on a significant growth trajectory and are always looking for leadership potential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, working within a high-volume, fast-moving wholesaler, freight forwarder or 3PL environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You can tailor your communication style to different stakeholders internal and external to the business.
  • Proficency in MS Office suite (predominately Excel) and relevant ERP’s.
