About the Role:
We are on the hunt for a HR Manager to join Interchange on a permanent basis, based at our central Belmont Office. We are open to a part-time to full-time basis – let us know what works for you. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the HR Manager leads the HR function, partners with Executive and Management to develop key people initiatives and champions an engaged, empowered workforce.
Lead Interchange’s HR function through:
- Partnering with Executive to build employee capability and put strategy into practice.
- Providing advice, support, and consultation the Executive and Leadership across all areas of the employment lifecycle.
- Providing change management expertise to facilitate effective implementation of organisational initiatives with full consideration of business risks and opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance with and maintain a thorough knowledge of relevant Award, NES, legislation, and funder policies.
- Leading and developing a close-knit HR team, with a lens on continuous improvement and capability building.

What do you need to apply?
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or similar and proven HR experience
- Commercial acumen and experience in the delivery of contemporary HR management.
- Demonstrated ability to apply high level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to analyse and overcome complex workforce issues.
- Substantial experience providing strategic advice and coaching to all levels of management. Typically demonstrated by a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Well-developed consultancy, project and change management skills.
