THE ROLE
We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated, full time, Inventory Controller who will be responsible for managing stock within our production facility in Casino NSW. The role will also include driving a HR vehicle to collect stock from local suppliers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE:
- Managing Stock: Manage incoming and outgoing goods, managing shelf life, providing manufacturing team daily stock requirements
- Receiving Stock: Offloading incoming deliveries and documenting as well as following processes for incoming stock
- Chiller and Freezer Room Management: Ensuring freezer and chiller room are being packed appropriately and kept to the highest standard
- Operating Forklift: Offloading incoming deliveries
- Stock Collection: Picking up stock from local suppliers with a HR vehicle
- Stock Count: Performing monthly stock counts
- Reporting: Creating daily reports findings on stock levels and address any discrepancies
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES
- Have experience in inventory management or a purchasing role
- A natural team player with a contagiously happy attitude
- Have a strong work ethic
- Be someone who takes responsibility and is reliable
- Able to work well under pressure and enjoy the dynamic of a start-up environment (fast-paced, shifting priorities, an "all hands on deck" approach)
- Current Forklift license
- Current HR license
- Flexible Monday to Friday schedule (some pick up days may have an earlier start/later finish)
