Alabama Solutions is seeking an experienced Incident Management Engineer to join our team!
As an Incident Management Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving incidents to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and services.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and prioritize incidents based on their impact and urgency.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain Incident Management processes and documentation to ensure efficient incident resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address underlying issues and implement preventive measures to reduce the occurrence of incidents.
- Proactively identify trends or patterns in incidents and propose improvements to mitigate future incidents.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and implement necessary changes to prevent similar incidents from occurring.
Requirements
- Night shift, from 10 pm EST to 6 am EST
- Technologies: PHP, React
- Understanding of ITIL Incident Management principles and best practices.
- Advanced level of English
- Prior experience: Previous experience in Incident Management or a related role is preferred, especially in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Experience with Incident Management tools and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems, including networks, servers, and databases.
