Role:Inclusion Support Educator
Location: Gateshead, NSW
Centre: Goodstart Gateshead
Employment Type: Full Time / Fixed Term until end of 2024.

Pay: $28 - 32 per hour based on experience

As an Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.
About Goodstart Gateshead:
Join our inclusive team at Goodstart Gateshead, where we provide a nurturing environment for children aged six weeks to preschool. With 86 places spread across six rooms, including Nursery, Toddlers, and Kindergarten/Preschool, we offer a diverse and stimulating educational experience.
Our curriculum is thoughtfully aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), emphasizing sensory and play-based learning to support holistic development. We believe in transparent communication with parents, facilitated through platforms like Storypark, family nights, and newsletters. This allows us to tailor programs to meet individual needs and celebrate the rich cultural diversity within our centre.
Our outdoor spaces are designed to inspire exploration and creativity, with age-appropriate play areas that encourage children to engage with the natural world.
As an ISS Educator, you'll play a vital role in building relationships with children, supporting their development, and fostering a sense of belonging within our community. Join us in shaping young minds and making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

You'll need:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
