The Role
The Inclusive Employment Program is designed to provide temporary workplace opportunities and experience for local people who face barriers to employment, for a duration of six months. To apply for this position, you must live within the City of Whittlesea municipality, and you need to meet at least one of the following criteria:
- People from Culturally or Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds
- First Nations People
- People living with disability
- Older people unable to find suitable employment
- Residents who may be experiencing hardship
This role provides reception, clerical and administrative support for service organisations located at the Hub and the general community. This role is responsible for greeting and welcoming community members coming to the Hub for appointments and responding to community enquires.
About you
If you have experience in an office or administration role within a community setting we would love to hear from you. Communication skills working with a variety of complex and diverse backgrounds is essential whilst a background in customer service and working with a range of stakeholders would be desirable. You have the ability to work methodically and neatly to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
