The Role
In this role, you'll assist end-to-end event management, handling document preparation and ensuring flawless event execution. Collaborating across teams, you'll assist in facilitatating venue bookings and maintain efficient systems for seamless operations. This role also involves optimising venue operations, enhancing the customer experience, and being hands-on during event setup and delivery, ensuring smooth execution at every step. The role is part of the City of Whittlesea, Inclusive Employment Program, designed to provide temporary workplace opportunities and experience for local people who face barriers to employment, for a duration of six months. To apply for this position, you must live within the City of Whittlesea municipality, and you need to meet at least one of the following criteria:

About you
We're seeking someone skilled in comprehensive event management, covering reports, proposals, resource management, and correspondence. Your ability to collaborate across teams, advocate for efficient systems, manage communication channels, and optimize venue operations is crucial. You'll be pivotal in enhancing customer experiences by improving systems and procedures. Your readiness to assist in event setup, pack down, and delivery will be greatly appreciated in this role.
