Event Planner

As our business grows, we are looking for experienced event professionals to join our fast-paced and dynamic team:

Position: Event Planner - 3 x roles available

As an Event Planner, you will be instrumental in delivering impactful and engaging corporate events for clients that leave a lasting impression. Whether it's a conference, gala dinner or cocktail party you will be the driving force behind its success. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and preferences.
• Coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution with the client, from floor plans and run sheets to menu selection to vendor coordination.
• Ensuring seamless communication and coordinating with internal teams including Operations and Kitchen, as well as external vendors to ensure flawless execution.
• Ensuring the event order is up to date at all times with high level of detail.
• Ensuring client payments are received on time and within the set schedules.
• Providing exceptional customer service and exceeding client expectations.
• Managing event timelines efficiently.
• Supporting with the on the day set up and execution of the event before handing over to the Event Manager 
• Evaluating event success and providing recommendations for future improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience (2+ years) in event planning and coordination, preferably in the wedding, hospitality or corporate events industry.
• Strong organisation skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• High attention to detail, you leave no stone unturned. 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and solutions focused.
• Proficiency in event management software (desirable) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
