Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join their team.
Key responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for automation and robotics integration within the company's manufacturing processes to improve productivity, enhance quality control, and reduce manual labour requirements.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop and implement quality control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure that the company's products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.- Work closely with the Supply Chain team to optimize inventory management, material flow, and supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and components to support the company's manufacturing operations.- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and uptime of critical manufacturing equipment, reducing downtime and minimizing production disruptions.-Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety and awareness among the company's workforce.- Provide engineering support to product development teams, assisting in the design for manufacturability (DFM) process to optimize new product designs for efficient production.- Provide training and support to production staff on new processes, equipment, and technologies, ensuring that the company's workforce has the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.- Utilize data analysis techniques to identify trends, monitor KPIs, and generate reports to track progress and measure the impact of process improvements on manufacturing performance.ABOUT YOU
Recent Bachelors degree qualification in Industrial Engineering or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment
Experience in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Possess strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Proven ability to project manage
Ability to work autonomously (self-management) and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-orientated with a focus on quality and accuracy
Capable of managing multiple tasks, demonstrating flexibility, and effectively handling various project components.
Excellent written, and verbal communication and presentation skills.Benefits:
