AddressAt MASS Products, we are seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our growing team on the Gold Coast. The position is full-time and is available for an immediate start.
Note: The position is open to an Industrial Engineer with at least three years work experience.
The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to:
- Developing manufacturing strategies & leading operational benchmarking
- Ensuring the efficient operation of our production environment
- Liaise with design engineers to improve product design and assembly methodologies
- Connect and conduct calibration and testing of our products
- Coordinate and oversee production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
- Address any quality issues promptly and work with relevant teams to resolve them
- Utilise data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement
- Supervise and provide guidance to production floor staff, including production operators and warehouse staff
- Designing and engineering specialised components, equipment and systems to address the unique challenges of every build and to create consistency in our build process, enhancing the quality, performance, and delivery of our solutions.
To be suitable for this position you must possess the following skills, attributes and qualifications.
- University degree in Industrial Engineering
- Three year minimum work experience in design and manufacturing environment
- Experience and knowledge designing products to Australian Standards
- Experience in ISO Compliance
- Current Driver's License and own reliable transport
- Creative mind
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence, flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and use initiative to determine priorities and also trouble-shoot
- Ability to follow and create workflow processes.
- Experience with Australian and International patents is not required but highly valued.
Hours of work are from 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
