About the Company

Located 30km's south of the Perth, our client site produces nickel briquettes and nickel powder. This multinational company will soon become the worlds largest producer of Nickel Sulphate and is currently one of the biggest suppliers of electric vehicle batteries.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a casual Industrial Painter/Blaster for the BHP Kwinana Nickel Refinery till Mid June 2024 (with potential of extension).
This will be working within our Asset Integrity team. The hours will predominantly be 0600 - 1430, Monday to Friday.
Skills & Experience
- Previous 4+ experience within Industrial Painting & Blasting
- Confident in using airless pumps
- Confident in experience with Garnet Blasting
- High Risk Licence (EWP, Forklift) - Advantageous
- Working at Heights (within 5 years)
- Confined Space Entry (within 5 years)
- Construction White Card
- Proactive, good timekeeping and reliable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work well within a team environment
- Strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety
What you need to know
- Duration: ASAP - Mid June 2024 (with potential of extension)
- 40hr per week, 0600 - 1430 standard hours
- Weekly Pay Cycle
- Monday - Friday
- Some overtime will be available on occasion and during shutdown
- PPE Provided
- Monthly onsite BBQs
- We pay into MyLeave - Construction Industry Long Service Leave (if applicable)
- All hours superannuation paid!
